Rumble in the Jungle

I was delighted to be approached by Elephant Family, the charity behind those beautiful elephant statues, which charged onto the streets of London last year. The task was to Hillierise a blanket to be on display in Edinburgh alongside a collection of jungle animals. We opted for a perfectly woven Ardalanish blanket (a traditional weavers from the Isle of Mull) and with the help of our brilliant intern Grace Cooper the result was a crafty menagerie of appliquéd animals.
